The New Dawn- A Warriors Roleplay
|
City of DustDNA splicing had, indeed, in the past been something that human beings had come to love. They'd started on small animals, like rats and mice, but soon went as far as to test their bizarre mutations on man's best friend. Their attempts started out successful and interesting, some canines possessing pelts that were thought to be unnatural in color and others even sprouting horns and large fangs. At first, humans thought little to nothing in regards to the amazing feats that they'd succeeded, but quickly regretted it as time went on. Of their most recent experiments, an unnamed canine who was later dubbed "Mnemosyne", lost their mind. They had been one of the most extensively experimented on of all of their subjects, and it was later discovered that the DNA and contamination in the bodies of the canine lead to severe decay of the mind. Humans were not sure how to react to such a mindless beast suddenly rising from a once docile creature, and quickly dumped any and all fluids that they used to mutate the animals into a nearby reservoir. They assumed that if the fluids were not put into the bloodstream, the animals would remain unfazed. They couldn't be more wrong. This is where you come in. You are a beast, a survivor in a world filled with a plague. You must survive the harsh, abandoned City of Dust around you. Will you fall under the power of the decay in your mind, or push yourself to survive against all odds? EditorialWe've not been around for a month yet!
